As collectors who have purchased many plants online and have had our share of disappointments, we understand the importance of realistic photography. As much as we would love to photograph every available plant, it is just not realistic. Unless otherwise specified, all images are representative of the plant you will receive and not necessarily the exact one. All this to say: we think it's special, and we love its variability. We've tried to demonstrate this variability in the photo gallery. In the greenhouse where temperatures are cooler at night we have been experiencing an extremely dark purple emergent leaf that has so far stayed considerably darker and purple toned than any other leaves grown in our homes. In lower lighting, leaves are a maroon purple emergent that transition to magenta violet and harden to a blue toned leaf blade.

In higher light, leaf blades are a dark olive green with purple to bronze emergent leaves. For another, we find that nutrition, temperatures and lighting greatly affects the look of the leaves on this plant. For one, it is less finicky than the dark without the dreaded yellow spot many people complain about on the dark form. Though some people consider this plant to be less desirable than the dark form (both originating from Silver Krome Gardens initially), we are quite fond of it. This plant is sometimes called green form (or compost pile form IYKYK). What we have to offer are either original cuttings or pups that have been divided from the plant. Steve’s original Anthurium AoS bush finally got separated and chopped.
